I held my breath for years. Stressed the fuck out. Having a total identity around being a “hot mess” and a “stress mess.” Five years ago, I met the dopest chick who became one of my best friends, and she asked me if I wanted to try breathwork. I thought it was going to be some little meditation experience. I also laughed at the idea of breathwork. I thought, “I’m alive. Of course, I know how to breathe.” Little did I know that by learning how to breathe in breathwork, I would begin to eliminate panic attacks, have less stress and anxiety, and feel really good. What a concept, to be a human who feels great?!
