“Regina… I know I want to do something different with my life but I don’t know where to start or what I want to do.”

I can’t tell you how often I hear this said to me.

The place that we start is with ourselves. 

The place that we start is by asking ourselves questions to determine our souls calling. 

The place we start is by being really honest with ourself about our thoughts, dreams, and desires. 

The place we start is by creating white space to pray, to reflect, to allow Spirit to speak to us, and to get really creative.

Sometimes we make so much noise for ourselves and then can’t hear what we actually need to hear. 

When you create that space and give yourself some meditative moments, here are some things to journal on. 

And when I say journal, I mean cell phone away, hand to literal paper, connecting to your Highest Power, being so honest and so vulnerable. No one is going to see it except you. Free write as much as possible for each question. 

(1) What things in life bring you the most joy? Think about activities, places, events, people. 

(2) Why do this things / people / events / places bring you so much?

(3) If money and other people’s opinions weren’t a barrier to entry, what would you be doing? And why?

(4) What is your mission on this planet? Why do you think you chose this body / family / life?
