Life has been very interesting. I’ve been a human and my life has been very interesting and that I’m actively building two businesses. And it’s really beautiful. And it’s been a really powerful time. But sometimes you just need a minute. And that’s been the lesson for me in this season is that I’ve had to take a lot of minutes to just be quiet, to be alone to let the information I’m needing to receive, download. It’s just been that season. So if you’re ever feeling like you need that season, we all need that season. We all need that time. And so really, really welcome it and really embrace it. Have something I want to talk about. I didn’t really plan how I wanted to talk about this, but I’m really fucking fired up about it. And so what a better time than now to come around and talk about it at the moment, right messy, messy action always. 

So we are living in a world. We are living in a time where everyone is really waking up. Let me rephrase that. A lot of people are waking up. They’re waking up to the fact that there’s more than what is going on in our 3D world. We’re waking up to the fact that you know, we are polarizing humans. We’re very aware of the fact that whether you’re a man or a woman, you possess a lot of masculine and feminine energy and it doesn’t matter which gender you fall under. You possess both, I possess both. We possess both.

And in the online spiritual space, we are seeing this big push for women to really embrace their feminine. To conduct a business in their feminine. And I think the reason why there’s this huge shift when I think about it and, you know, women prior to the sexual revolution, were in a certain role in life and post-sexual revolution. Women were able to embrace their masculinity, go to college, step into careers, become corporate badasses, Be C-suite executives like, that is something that we were given permission from ourselves to do, we were able to step into that and fight for that. And I think for a lot of women, and for women in general, that has swung our polarity, way into the masculine, right? And I’m saying this, from my experience, I didn’t grow up in the sexual revolution, I grew up in the 90s and the 2000s. And, you know, started practicing law in 2012. And even in that time, that I was practicing law, I could see the fight that women had to fight to really be respected. The things that people said to me, as a female litigator, and attorney were fucking atrocious. And they would never say those things to a man. So I understand our swing into the masculine. I was in that. I was a female litigator heavily in my masculine. But now the pendulum is swinging in the other direction, the pendulum is swinging into tapping into our feminine, being in flow, and having our businesses come from that space. The problem or the issue that I’m having is that we are saying to women, a lot of coaches and people online, are really pushing women back into the feminine without honoring our masculine energy. And what do I mean by that? As a business owner, there are masculine structures that are required for a business to grow and to scale. It just is what it is, right? To create a scalable business, you need systems, you need structures, you need fucking, standard operating agreements, standard operating procedures, those things are a necessity for growing, scaling, thriving business. 

I feel as though I’m seeing a lot of coaches in the online space, like really pushing women and marketing their messaging for women to be in their feminine. But really, what we should be marketing and messaging and teaching is how to love and flow between both beautiful polarities, how to honor our sacred masculinity and honor our sacred femininity, to honor both to embrace both. And to flow between both. Like I can have a meeting, where I’m talking about systems and structure and strategy with my team, and then have a coaching call with someone who requires me to hold beautiful feminine space to be soft, to flow with that.

Both of those polarities are what make us such special human beings. And the way that we can flow between the two is a beautiful art that should be taught. And we need to stop saying to women, you need to be more flowy you need to be more feminine. What the fuck does that even mean? Because what’s coming out of that is this projection of what femininity looks like. femininity looks different and shows up different, just as different as each and every fucking woman is. So for some women feminity is going to be wearing a tutu-like dress, and wearing pink, and doing ecstatic dance. And for other women, femininity is going to be wearing all black, like fucking high-waisted leather skirts. And like telling people to fuck off with love. That is how different we are. There’s this notion, this antiquated notion, this patriarchal notion that femininity is weak. And so I think sometimes in a spiritual context, we are unknowingly allowing that preconceived notion to filter into the way that we are New Age teaching women about femininity. I want to be very fucking clear about something. Being a woman and being in your feminine, does not mean that you have to be fucking weak, or a pushover or not push back or not have strength. Being a woman is bold, it is strong, we are powerful. We grow humans in our womb space and then push them out through a vagina that stretches to the size of an eight-pound baby. If that isn’t fucking strength, I don’t think we know what strength is. 

We are powerful humans as women. And maybe your version for you of femininity is quieter, is meeker is more even-toned. That’s fucking beautiful and powerful. Maybe your version of femininity is loud and bold, and you yell. The other week I was doing breathwork with one of my dear friends and we were in a group and I’m laying on my back it’s an eyes-closed journey. So my eyes are closed, and I’m sitting and I’m breathing intensely, intensely. A huge part of breathwork is releasing. Some people cry some people yell, some people scream, some people laugh. During this particular breathwork, I needed to yell.

And following my intuitive guidance for my eyes closed, I’m on a yoga mat and I got on all fours my hands and knees in this primal position. And I screamed from my root chakra. I screamed from deep down in my belly. And I cried and I yelled and I moved my body and I moved the energy through me. And the message that came through. That is the purest form of femininity. For me, that is being a woman that is showing up as a strong, powerful woman saying things and doing things and maybe people are uncomfortable. But that is how I am in my feminine. That’s me being a warrior woman. Not everybody is called and not everybody is made to show up in their femininity like I am. But we must stop judging the strong women, the loud women, the fiery women who don’t necessarily float around. And the strong fiery women need to stop judging the floaty, floral, soft-spoken woman. We are all in our feminine and can be in our feminine in lots of different ways. And so I want to share this with all of you because I think about this all the time. I have thought about this a lot with myself on my own journey with my clients and as I’m witnessing people online. And I want to invite you my invitation in saying all of this to you is to sit with yourself and think about and feel into what is your fullest expression. How do you fully express yourself in your feminine energy?  No judgment, no comparison. But how do you feel you’re most feminine? 

We are all different and we’re all unique, and it’s beautiful that we all have the opportunity to show up in the way that feels the best for us.
